A LITTLE ABOUT US

Josie Esquivel used to live in Chatanooga, TN and was an active member of the Riverbend Fiber Guild.  When she moved to Salisbury she searched for a guild to join and didn't find one.  April 2009 Josie visited the Spring Fling at the Olde Stone House. There she saw a weaver at work and they started talking about how much Josie missed being a part of a guild.  Other people got into the conversation and eventually they decided it was time for Rowan County to have a fiber guild.  Later that same year a small group of about 10 dedicated fiber enthusiasts met at the Rowan Museum to Organize the Olde Rowan Fiber Guild.  We've been going strong ever since.  Come be a part of the adventure.
